Harshad is an engineering & management professional with 26+ years of experience in Information Technology domain across Engineering and Telecommunications industries. Having acquired Engineering degree with First class with Honours from the University of Mumbai, Harshad completed Post graduate Diploma in Business Management with Distinction.
He built his career in giant multimational companies and industry leaders like Reliance Industries Limited, Telcordia Technologies Inc., ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions (India), and Jio Platforms Limited. He is a certified ‘IT Architect’ with vast experience in various roles as a Business Analyst, Solution Architect, and Project Manager spanning different phases of the software development life cycle in Information Technology projects.
Harshad holds the patents as the lead inventor for invention in Telecommunications software. The patents are awarded by the European Patent Office and United States Patent and Trademarks Office.
Harshad was feliciated with ‘Global Pride Award – Male Icon of the Year -IT Sector’ in March-2024.
On the personal front, Harshad is a born Mumbaikar and stays in a suburb of Mumbai with his wife Anagha and daughter Shreya. Harshad is an avid reader. He is a poet as well as a writer in Marathi and English. He presented his poems in Marathi in ‘Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan’ in 2018 and 2021. He has won several awards in recognition of his writings.
Harshad is a sports-lover, a mountaineer, and a trekker in Sahyadri ranges in Maharashtra state having topped more than 50 forts and mountains. Harshad is a passionate runner and regularly participates in prestigious marathons.
Harshad contributes to society not only with regular financial aid to many social service organizations but as a regular blood donor having donated blood on 35 occasions so far. He is a very active participant in various social causes.
